ABOUT ME

I was born in the Highlands in 1985 and grew up on a sheep and cattle farm. I have always had a creative and curious mind and I gained my BA Honours Degree in Textile Design from Heriot Watt University in Galashiels. I have worked in a variety of fields throughout my life, including event management, children and young people, education, charity and third sector organisations; always enjoying the connections and dynamics of the people within the working environments. It was later on in life that I discovered that counselling was my true calling and I embarked on my training journey in 2019. I graduated with my PG Diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy in 2025 from Persona Development and Training. I am also a wife and a mum to two young children, and have lived in West Lothian since 2016.
